Where is my Jakelle Studios piece made?

I design all of the pieces in my studio here in Devon (which recently had an upgrade from my mum's kitchen to a nice big conservatory). I also make the samples for each piece here and only when I’m completely happy with the fit, do I send it to be graded (additional sizes created).

I began the brand making everything myself however, as I spend more time designing and focusing on the sustainable direction of the brand, a lot of pieces are now made by Kay and Teresa; two very skilled seamstresses here in Devon.

 

Do you ship outside of the UK?

Of course! I couldn’t restrict the beauty of these pieces to just the U.K. If you live outside of Europe please bear in mind that your piece may take 7-10 working days to be made and a further 10 working days for delivery. I promise it is all worth the wait though.

 

How much is shipping?

Delivery within the UK is £4.99 and free for orders over £90 in the UK. For the rest of Europe and Ireland shipping is £7.99. Rest of the world shipping is £9.99.

 

How long will my pre-order take to arrive?

All pre-orders are taken to the factory every Monday and can take 7-10 working days to be made. This allows the ladies long enough to ensure your piece is made with love and care so that it lasts for years to come.

 

Are you plastic free?

Throughout the design process and sourcing packaging, one of my main aims is to eliminate the use of plastic in as many places as possible. This has meant using recycled and recyclable boxes and compostable mailers to send your pieces in. One area I am still looking for a plastic free alternative for is for the bodysuit poppers.

 

Is my Jakelle Studios piece vegan friendly?

Jakelle Studios is vegan friendly and cruelty-free. There are no animal fabrics or derivative's used in Jakelle Studios pieces. I ensure that the printers I work with use vegan friendly inks and processes.
